The benefit of Root Manipulation is a healthy root system. With a fibrous root system the tree has a large advantage over a tree that was grown strictly in a plastic container. In a root manipulation system, air penetrates through the container to aerate the roots increasing the number of fibrous roots as well as minimizing root spiraling. With out a healthy root system a tree may never perform to its full potential.
